Delaware Park to Host Championship Series

Across the United States, poker players have access to live events which offer nice prize pools and unique formats. At Delaware Park, players can take part in poker gaming or access unique tournaments when the venues decide to host a live event. This October, the racino will play host to the Mid Atlantic Poker Championship, which will include 18 tournaments of varying formats.

From the 14th of October to the 26th, the series will provide large prize pools, with guaranteed prizes from $2,500 to $150,000. According to Kevin Castora, the Manager of the Poker Room for Delaware Park, stated the venue is upping the ante for the 2015 series.

The preliminary events will have three championship events. Players in the area can take part in the $1,500 PLO championship as well as the $550 Heads-Up Championship, which will have the best two out of three matches. The main event will then take place and will have a buy-in of $1,090.

Every event on the schedule will run for one day only, providing a winner at the end of every day. Only four events, #4, #10, #12 and #13 will take part over multiple days. Multiple satellites will be offered, allowing players to earn their seat for very little money. Players will find satellites offered in several different forms from the standard option to turbos.
